Insights is a two-minute psychological short film directed by Krishnakumar Menon that confronts one of the most difficult and misunderstood human experiences: the decision to end one's life. The film places the viewer inside the mind and perspective of a person standing at the edge of a building, creating an intense, claustrophobic intimacy that refuses to look away from the reality of suicidal ideation.
Rather than sensationalising or simplifying its subject matter, Insights uses the visual language of cinema with close framing, ambient sound design, and a restrained performance to invite understanding and empathy.
